Kerry meets with local police in Brislington

Home / News / News from Bristol East / Kerry meets with local police in Brislington

14 April 2017

Yesterday I met with local police officers, Debbie and Gareth, at their regular beat surgery at Wick Road library in Brislington, which is open to any local resident who wants to talk to them. We discussed a range of issues, including housing policy, support for particularly vulnerable residents, traffic calming, and the recent restructuring of Avon and Somerset police.

I am in regular contact with the policing teams across Bristol East and, indeed, the city, to work together on issues from parking enforcement to hate crime, from serious organised crime to anti-social behaviour.

I want to take this opportunity to thank them for the work which they do, every day, in the line of duty, keeping us all safe.
